This cylinder does not include a built-in check valve. You have the option to include a double piloted check valve if you have a Summit Hydraulics Rear Remote Kit.

The inclusion of a check valve is designed to prevent cylinder drift, ensuring that your hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders maintain their position once they reach the desired extension or retraction.

To control the speed of the hydraulic cylinders, the addition of a flow control valve (sold separately) is recommended.
